SOME STUFF CAN NEVER BE FORGOTTEN

The place in the picture, this was a very famous place for our gang..we all spent half of our college days at the same place. We named this place "bhaina dukaan adda". This place had some zing,yes..dats the reason we all, right from 1st semester till last day never changed our spot of adda. This was a lively spot for us. I guess it had some divine power..haha..We did so much stuff over there..like staring at the chicks passing by(JP was a master), passing on comments(this i'll take the credit n also saket helped me a lot), long and never ending debates and discussions,and even the 1st, 2nd and 3rd bookings for cold-drinks and fags..but now when i saw it all but lonely it was very disgusting and it really pissed me off. I guess this place now lost all its zing and charm.And when I look at it, all I can see is those sweet memories rolling down my conscience like a flash back in a typical bollywood movie. But believe me folks it is true...when u r wandering over something u'll never know its importance but when u r no where near it then u'll realise its real importance in ur lyf and what u've lost. The same stuff I faced when I saw it. I know that nobody can bring back those sweet moments, all I can do is think about those moments and sometimes be happy and sometimes be sad. This trip made me realise one thing, A place has all its charm,zing or whatever u call it, its becuase of the friends.So, its more than heaven if friends are there with u..and its worse than hell if u r lonely out there.
I may sound a bit boring, and may have to face some typical remarks also, but I've pen downed the real feelings and emotions which I myself experienced. The conclusion which I came is that now this place only consists of all those beautiful memories wandering around itself.
This spot was very close to my heart and i guess also to our entire gang and will always be till eternity.

RE-UNION

College life...it is the most beautiful phase which a person goes through in His/Her entire life. This is the period where every one finds new friends and also starts knowing about life and living independently away from home. This is the phase where friends become everything. People share their happiness, their sorrows and each n every feeling with their friends. There are lot of things to be cheered about like parties, addas, group studies, sports....and the list is endless. No one can ever bring those pleasant days back even if they want to.
After college everyone leaves in different directions in search of their futures and career's and hardly get the chance and time to meet each other.

But I feel I'm the lucky one..to be precise We(our gang) were the lucky ones. After moving out of college last year we got a golden opportunity to meet again and almost everyone stepped forward for this occasion except 1 or 2 who had their set of problems.
It was a great feeling to see everyone after such a long time. There were phenomenal changes in some of them...the most was in Ankush..and Bio.. gosh..they gained quite a weight...Baccha no longer looked like baccha..he also got matured..but still he was always our prey..
Inspite meeting after a long time it never looked like we ever parted..n humours , the pranks and the leg pulling everything continued as they used to be in college, nothing changed ..that was a very positive thing.
And as always the frequency between Me, Debu and Saket was still going well.
Wished it lasted a bit longer..but..nothing can be done all have to leave to join their respective jobs...
All in All..it was a sweet reunion..even though we missed 1 or 2..and I wish such reunions happen again in life..I know I'm asking too much but its human nature and quite natural..I cant help it...

Thanks everyone for coming....and most importantly..thanks Daman for giving us such a lovely occasion.

TWISTS IN T20

Twenty 20 keeps coming up with something new every now and then. The ICC T20 world cup in England added another spectacle to this ever evolving sport. For the first time, children are accompanying the teams to the field before the match as it regularly happens in football matches. Also, for the first time in T20 games, the national anthems of the teams are be sung before the start.

So, this new invention which evloved in the game seems to have quite impressed me and it surely lifts the spirits of the game.

MY FIRST VOTE

Can't say about the feelings which people have when they vote, but surely i can discuss mine.
So, it was 30th of april and elections at our place. As everyone knows..they come after every 5 years and sometimes even before, but I never gave a damn to them, but this time it was special for me..as I was voting and that too for the first time.
It was great to vote because I believe it is the biggest weapon we people have to change the system. Critics may say that nobody can change the system and then whats the point in voting.
But just imagine if every citizen thinks the same and doesnt vote, then what will be the future of our country. I might be sounding a bit phylosophical but fact is fact.
I dont know how much my vote can help in developing a good government, but I'm sure it has helped to decrease the vote of a bad party by 1 and am happy for that.

QUOTA IN POLITICS

We have enjoyed quota system almost in every sphere regardless may be it in education or entrance examinations or even for getting jobs in central and state government organizations.
Uptill now we had quota on the basis of caste.Different people have different views regarding it.
Here i come up with another quota implication in politics.But this quota is neither on the basis of caste or religion. I think the constitution of India should enforce a YOUTH quota in politics.
Yes, I'm not insane while writing this statement, and I strongly believe my thought.
I believe that the constitution of India should make it an ammendment that there is quota in each and every party for the youth.And I also believe most of our country citizens would agree with this move.
If a particular party contests for 10 seats from a particular place then there should be a minimum of 3-4 candidates of the age 35-40 years contesting from that party.
This would lead to a perfect blend of youth and experience in that party and would bring a multi-dimensional developement to our country.
The experienced candidates can share their experience with the youth and can guide them further and the youth can bring up some dynamic and innovative ideas into focus.
But one thing should be kept in the mind of the parties that the youth are well aware of the idealogies of the party and they all well taught about the principles of that party and also awared of the discipline which politics demands.Else another Varun Gandhi can arise from them,which we dont want.

So, I guess this can bring out a new dimension of Indian Politics which can only lead to the betterment of our country further.And the election of Barack Obama as the President of USA can only bring more confidence to us.

BAGGY GREEN ON BOOKS!!!

This is not the colour of the pages which i'm talking about, rather its been asked by the opec body to let the ARMY place advertisements on the NCERT text books of class 11 and 12 standards.
Critics argue that by doing such an act the students are being moulded todays a particular carrer option.
I rather feel that its some what a pretty intelligent move which wud rather enlighten a ray of hope among the stuedents that INDIAN ARMY can also be a carrer option for them.
If the ads contain all the details and various procedures in which a candidate can enroll himself in the INDIAN ARMY i guess it'll prove to be beneficial to the candidate and he can give a thought for it. Because at the time of age when every student thinks about becoming an Engineer, Doctor, Mba etc ..he can also..think in a different dimension altogetherto be an INDIAN ARMY officer.
INDIAN ARMY has a shortage of officers, so this move can turn to be a profitable one for our country itself. I feel that the other 2 defence outfits should also be allowed to place their respective ads.
JAI HIND!!!

~~~E-VOTING~~~
Here I'm not telling anyone to vote for any knid of Indian Idol contestant, neither I'm asking to vote for an online debate for any news channel. Instead here I'm suggesting for the online voting in the general elections. Isn't it a good option to also conduct online voting,which would obviously bring a smile on each and every youngster's face. Most people avoid voting or give a slip on voting day just looking at the long queues and imagining of the time they got to stand there for voting. So, if our political parties instead of spending so many bucks on party campaigning etc, spend some of it collectively for making online voting possible then it would obviously be a great achievement for our country. Some doubts may raise over the credablity of the E-Voting,raising questions that in such a scenario a person can vote multiple number of times. There's a solution for such thing also. The government can give a project for any IT industry in our country and ask them to design the E-Voting system in such a way that a particular voter id number can be accesed for only one time and the respective id holder can sign in one time only and cast his/her vote. And after the designated time the voting web page will be locked. It wont be much a task of our IT companies to design such a thing, who are designing so many bulky projects for the overseas. The site can also be designed in such a way that all parties can upload their information regarding their parties there. This move will definitely bring a revolution in our country and will help in complete utility of our democracy with the number of voters increasing in turn which will help in the election of the most deserving party to the centre. The most important factor is that most of the educated people dont go for casting their votes, but a move like this will help all them to vote because now it'll just take 5 minutes. This is a great concept and our government should give a thought about it.
