Freinds, Dont get mistaken with the one who was the 1st to keep his footsteps on the moon(Niel Armstrong).
But Lance Armstrong did a more tougher and impossible task than the former....yes, he won the Toure-de-France(the toughest cycling event) for 7 times and that too after recovering himself from testicular cancer..yes now it might seem strange to you but its true.
When he was diagonised of cancer he had two options either to quit or to fight, but he chose the later one because according to him:
"Pain is temporary, it may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it will lasts forever. "
So he fought back his life and again after a rigorous practice he again started pedaling his wheels on the track. The intense practice and the pain he went trough is beautifully presented in his autobiography named:"Its Not About The Bike, Its My Journey Back To Life".
So he is one of the most admiring personalities who conquered death and living with pride.
and now again after his retirement 2 years back he is again geared up for a come back to the circuit.
A great Salute for such a person.....
