QUOTA IN POLITICS

We have enjoyed quota system almost in every sphere regardless may be it in education or entrance examinations or even for getting jobs in central and state government organizations.
Uptill now we had quota on the basis of caste.Different people have different views regarding it.
Here i come up with another quota implication in politics.But this quota is neither on the basis of caste or religion. I think the constitution of India should enforce a YOUTH quota in politics.
Yes, I'm not insane while writing this statement, and I strongly believe my thought.
I believe that the constitution of India should make it an ammendment that there is quota in each and every party for the youth.And I also believe most of our country citizens would agree with this move.
If a particular party contests for 10 seats from a particular place then there should be a minimum of 3-4 candidates of the age 35-40 years contesting from that party.
This would lead to a perfect blend of youth and experience in that party and would bring a multi-dimensional developement to our country.
The experienced candidates can share their experience with the youth and can guide them further and the youth can bring up some dynamic and innovative ideas into focus.
But one thing should be kept in the mind of the parties that the youth are well aware of the idealogies of the party and they all well taught about the principles of that party and also awared of the discipline which politics demands.Else another Varun Gandhi can arise from them,which we dont want.

So, I guess this can bring out a new dimension of Indian Politics which can only lead to the betterment of our country further.And the election of Barack Obama as the President of USA can only bring more confidence to us.

BAGGY GREEN ON BOOKS!!!

This is not the colour of the pages which i'm talking about, rather its been asked by the opec body to let the ARMY place advertisements on the NCERT text books of class 11 and 12 standards.
Critics argue that by doing such an act the students are being moulded todays a particular carrer option.
I rather feel that its some what a pretty intelligent move which wud rather enlighten a ray of hope among the stuedents that INDIAN ARMY can also be a carrer option for them.
If the ads contain all the details and various procedures in which a candidate can enroll himself in the INDIAN ARMY i guess it'll prove to be beneficial to the candidate and he can give a thought for it. Because at the time of age when every student thinks about becoming an Engineer, Doctor, Mba etc ..he can also..think in a different dimension altogetherto be an INDIAN ARMY officer.
INDIAN ARMY has a shortage of officers, so this move can turn to be a profitable one for our country itself. I feel that the other 2 defence outfits should also be allowed to place their respective ads.

~~~E-VOTING~~~
Here I'm not telling anyone to vote for any knid of Indian Idol contestant, neither I'm asking to vote for an online debate for any news channel. Instead here I'm suggesting for the online voting in the general elections. Isn't it a good option to also conduct online voting,which would obviously bring a smile on each and every youngster's face. Most people avoid voting or give a slip on voting day just looking at the long queues and imagining of the time they got to stand there for voting. So, if our political parties instead of spending so many bucks on party campaigning etc, spend some of it collectively for making online voting possible then it would obviously be a great achievement for our country. Some doubts may raise over the credablity of the E-Voting,raising questions that in such a scenario a person can vote multiple number of times. There's a solution for such thing also. The government can give a project for any IT industry in our country and ask them to design the E-Voting system in such a way that a particular voter id number can be accesed for only one time and the respective id holder can sign in one time only and cast his/her vote. And after the designated time the voting web page will be locked. It wont be much a task of our IT companies to design such a thing, who are designing so many bulky projects for the overseas. The site can also be designed in such a way that all parties can upload their information regarding their parties there. This move will definitely bring a revolution in our country and will help in complete utility of our democracy with the number of voters increasing in turn which will help in the election of the most deserving party to the centre. The most important factor is that most of the educated people dont go for casting their votes, but a move like this will help all them to vote because now it'll just take 5 minutes. This is a great concept and our government should give a thought about it.
A BLOODY MATCH
3rd March, 2009 would always be recalled as a black day in the cricketing history of the world, when 12 gunmen ambushed at the ferrying team bus which was carrying the Sri Lankan cricket team to the Gadaffi Stadium to resume the 3rd day of the final match in the 2 match test series.
Cricket definitely lost this day.....
The attack took place at the Liberty Chowk, one of the bussiest places and hardly a mile from the stadium.
The 12 men were there to play a different game and it seems they almost played it n smartly slipped away without even one being nabbed killing 6 policemen and injuring half the Sri Lankan team including the umpires,leading to the immediate cancellation of the tour and carrying the team away in a military helicopter which landed in the stadium.
This a complete breach in the security of the Pakistani cricket board and the government which promised a full proof security to the visiting team,who were the only ones who agreed to play after australia and india withdrew their series.
It was very sad to see the players who went to paly their returned to their homeland with bandages and injuries all over their bodies.
What effect this incident will have on the future of the Pakistan cricket is very early to be said,but its predictable with New Zealand and Australia cancelling their respective tours schedule later this year. The ICC World cup 2011 which was scheduled to be organised by the 4 sub-continent teams is also on the knife edge.
Pakistan might be on the verge of losing the world cup also.This is a serious trouble for the PCB with no teams willing to tour there, leaving them with the only options of matches at neutral venues.
This incident will definitely create a glimpse of shadow and doubt on cricket tours in the sub-continent and also on the IPL which is scheduled to kick start next month.
Now the whole world has to wait and watch to see where this audacious and brutal incident takes the sport of cricket which from years maintained an image of innocent and gentlemen's game.
SLUMDOG MANIA!!!
Well these days slumdog has become the buzz word every where...and Jai Ho!!..the anthem..
But I couldn't get for what the whole fuss is about.
First off all the name itself creates a discrimination and also a bit of debate...as one can see..the very mention of the word "DOG" used for the slums. It seems the people of the slums have been compared to dogs.
Okay, I won't say its a bad movie..it is a good movie, a movie worth watching 1-2 times..depicting the fighting spirit of a person and also about some luck part.
But I completely disagree with the point that it is an Indian movie.I strictly stick to my words that it is a british movie...directed my a british director..and a british producer..with most technachians..from India..and also..all the artists from India.
Well its a proud feeling for our Indians that our technicians have been recognised globally..and now they'll get good oppurtunities..abroad.
But nowadays its become a daily news for every channel just irritating people with the same news..and also with the news that the slumdog kid has been slapped by his dad..n the slumdog kids were not allowed in the flimfare awards for 1hr..n they had to wait outside for 1 hr..does these things make news..these days..when thers lot of things going around..worth showing in channels.
There's a simple thing..if the same movie would have been made by an Indain..I dont think..it would have qualified..and its the fact..just look at what happened to "TAARE ZAMEEN PAR"..what was wrong with that movie..it was the first movie showing about the life of a dyslexic child and how u deal with them..but a boring and dumb movie like "NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN"..won multiple oscars..n this was just striked out..isn't it ridiculous.
We all should realize that its just a movie worth watching..just go and watch it..thats it..and stop all the fuss about it..and carry on with our work...
